Actress Murisa Harba co-directs and plays leading lady Angie Winston in F#@K I LOVE U: ALIVE! at the DORIE THEATRE for Hollywood Fringe Festival.
Loved reuniting with the cast of F#@K I LOVE U on stage in a live theatrical production at the Dorie Theatre at the Complex. This was rather special because we performed directly under the studio I taught my acting classes out of for years! Lucky Mor’s gripping and raw storyline based around the characters of the webseries got to shine on stage in front of a live audience. The chemistry this cast holds is truly unique and it was such a pleasure to co-direct the production with Lucky, who also played my husband.
It was also quite exciting to revisit live performance because my love of acting started with the stage way back when at Boston University. The fun of rehearsal, the sound of the audience as they enter the theatre, the unexpected moments that happen with any live show; it was such a joy. My, how I have missed the theatre!
